What Has Been Really Going on in Farragut Part 12 #2--Time to Start Naming Names
Negative Brixworth Residents and What People are Really Angry About.
On September 13, 2024, I received a Facebook message from one of the “wonderful” people who live in Brixworth.
Hey Sean, one of you neightbors here. I just had to fact check something. You have a huge display in your yard that you know no one sees but your neighbors and you could care less. But did you really take down open house signs of friends of ours who are trying to conduct legitimate business? Why?
Great way to start a conversation by insulting the person you are talking to. Keep in mind I have no idea who this person is and he has no direct knowledge as to what I am doing or why. Just making assumptions. By the way, it is couldn’t care less.
Let’s continue. His next response:
read that again. how did I insult you. just stated facts. you do have a yard display. only the neighbors can see it. you don't care as it has gotten bigger. didn't say anything insulting. mainly wondered if you really took down others signs
My response
To quote you "You have a huge display in your yard that you know no one sees" I take this as an insult. I will accept that you did not mean that as one. Have you read the C&Rs for Brixworth? Do you know what the rules are for putting signs up on community property?
His response:
Nope. Just wish all of us would treat each other with mutual respect. I am seriously befuddled why you want to punish our beautiful neighborhood with such an eyesore in your front yard. But to have the nerve to take down signs. You are beyond hope. I hope you are enjoying yourself to the max
This one is really special. First, he wants others to be treated with mutual respect, then he again repeatedly insults me, my property, and the yard art.
Then he states I want to punish his beautiful neighborhood. Have you ever been by Brixworth? This is far from a really nice neighborhood, as is most of Farragut. You can hear the trains barreling down the tracks at all hours of the day. Sad that people’s standards are so low. People need to get out more and see what a really nice area is.
This is sadly part and parcel for far too many people who live in Brixworth and Farragut. A normal person would ask to have a sit down and discuss his concerns. As you can see, this “wonderful” resident just wants to listen to hearsay and throw insults. The coward blocked me after this exchange.
My response
What are the rules about putting commercial signs on common areas? The answer is they are not allowed. So why is anyone surprised they were taken down and returned to the person who put them up? You talk about treating others with respect. I do not recall ever meeting you. How do you know what my intentions are?
His response
Your intentions are to make the town more honest and forthright. I applaud that effort. You don’t have to annoy the neighbors in the process.
And this response explains all of this in a nutshell. My displays annoy him and others.
Is there any anger at?
—All the traffic?
—All the subsidized apartments?
—Building on protected waterways and destroying the environment?
—The Democratic People’s Republic of Farragutstan destroying the First Amendment?
—The DPRF abusing residents and business with illegal fines and court summons?
Nope. None of these things matter. This “wonderful” person is upset that he has to look at yard displays that sully up the image of their “perfect” neighborhood and community. I am sure his equally shallow friends are offended that a “Neanderthal” like me dares to do what I do.
The people in Brixworth and Farragut are more bothered by putting up displays than they are about what is printed on them.
Here is the reality of this situation.
Most people in Farragut are clueless and want to stay ignorant. We can see this in voting totals. Maybe 20% of residents vote in local elections.
The overarching problem in town is this place is dominated by shallow, self-absorbed people who think the greatest accomplishment in life is to live in Farragut. Far too many live lives of shallow desperation, are obsessed with living in the right neighborhood, driving the right car, or being seen with the right people. Stunning given this is the middle of the Bible Belt and this behavior is the polar opposite of Christianity.
Here are the real reasons why people are so angry at me over the yard art.
Louise Povlin has led the charge to destroy this community. She is furious that I exposed and parodied her. Did you see Louise’s last speech at BoMA? All she talked about was I, I, and I. She is the exact type of person we never want in charge at any level of government. Liberal Louise is just like Kamala Harris: she craves power. I have met many people like Liberal Louise Povlin in my time in politics. The Mad Queen yard art display ended her chances at being County Commissioner, because it was so spot on accurate. She has a group of lemmings who do her bidding and they are some of the most vile people to talk to. So this group is furious I exposed their game.
Then we have the shallow, self-absorbed types. I live near a few of them. They are furious as I destroyed their “perfect neighborhood.” I had one “wonderful” neighbor tell me that she had a bunch of important people at her home and they were aghast at my displays. How dare I sully their perfect world with my First Amendment displays!!! Ignore the message, shoot the messenger.
Then we have the cowards who have no backbone to deal with these problems. Many of these are the shallow types as well. They know there is a problem and they do not have the courage to deal with it. So they shoot the messenger too.
Then you have the “some times they are the bug, some times they are the windshield types.” They go through life clueless and listen to all the lies and gossip on the street. These people are ignorant and are so willfully. They have no idea what is going on and generally do not care to inform themselves. They will however be the first to complain when these apartments become housing projects. Psst: they will become housing projects. Within 5 years, Farragut will be in a world of hurt.
The fact is I “committed” a number of “crimes” in the Yard Art Wars.
I dared speak up against the petty tyrants who used to run the town: Louise Povlin and Ron Williams. Bullies hate being challenged. Mockery of our overlords should entail capital punishment.
I dared do this in a way that forced everyone to look at it. A year and a half into this and I still have people regularly driving by stopping to ask questions and thanking me for doing what I did. The bad guys know how effective the yard art is and it bothers them to no end. You can even visit the fan page for the Center for Yard Art and Civil Disobedience on Facebook.
I dared put a mirror in front of the people in the Democratic People’s Republic of Farragutstan. They hate what they see and that is the main cause of the anger directed at me. People here know their community sucks. They know it has been ruined and most of them are too lazy to lift a finger to stop it. The place is filled with cowards who hide at the first nasty comment sent their way. They want these problems fixed, but will not get off their lazy behinds to do something that actually fixes it. I did something to fix this mess and succeeded. The yard art makes them face their failures and instead of reflecting on and correcting their errors, they lash out. Good people have allowed terrible things to go on and it will ruin this community.
I will never apologize for doing the right thing. Our great country is in so much trouble because so few people have the courage, like our Founders, to do whatever it takes. Stay tuned because I will be releasing more of this and naming names.

All of what you said plus the fact that it's YOUR property, and it really doesn't matter what they think since it's your land! I'm sure you've reminded them of this fact most likely through a lovely song called "If You Don't Like It", hmm, let's see, that a great Country Act named, Brandon Maddox wrote! ha
